How to Find Reviews and Ratings on Yahoo! Movies

Yahoo Movies has a plethora of information for movie lovers around the world. Visitors can access everything from comprehensive trailer and movie clip listings, release details, running times and even information on showtimes and tickets. You can also find loads of reviews and ratings by following these steps.

• Computer with Internet connection
• Yahoo! account to post reviews

1. Go to the Yahoo! Movies home page (see the Resources section below). You can log in with a Yahoo! account if you have one, but you do not need one to view reviews and ratings.

2. Browse through the listed movies and find a film you are interested in, ot rnter the name of a particular movie you want to see reviews of in the Search box on the home page. Click on the link to the movie you choose.

3. Examine the letter ratings in the boxes labeled 'The Critics' and 'Yahoo! Users.' These ratings indicate whether, on average, critics and Yahoo! users thought a movie was outstanding ('A'), above average ('B'), average ('C'), poor ('D') or terrible ('F').

4. Find the boxes or click on the links that say 'Critic Reviews' or 'User Reviews.' You should see a list of review summaries. These summaries include abbreviated comments and a letter grade from each highlighted user or publication.

5. Click the text link included with any review to access the entire write-up.

6. Click on the links that say 'More Critics Reviews' or 'More User Reviews' to see more pages of reviews. If there are multiple pages of reviews, use the link labeled 'Next' to navigate to additional pages.

Leave Your Own Ratings and Reviews for Movies

7. Load the individual movie page for a film you have seen and have an opinion on.

8. Leave a rating for the film by accessing the 'My Grade' box.

9. Click on the letter corresponding to the grade you want to give the movie. You have the option of giving '+' or '-' grades (e.g., 'B+').

10. Choose the 'Write a Review' text link if you'd like to share your thoughts.

11. Leave a detailed review of particular elements of the movie by clicking on the letter grade options in various categories (such as 'Acting,' 'Visuals' or 'Story'). Type a written review of at least 30 words into the 'Write Your Review' box, and then enter a title in the 'Write A Title For Your Review' box.

12. Click 'Preview' to see how your review will look or 'Post Review' to post it.
