How to Add Photos to Your Listing on Yahoo! Autos

When buying a new or used car, most folks need all the information they can get. Buying a car on Yahoo! Autos is quick and easy, but most buyers won't click on a listing that doesn't have a clear photo of the car in question.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Photos of the car you are selling
• Internet connection
• Computer
• Yahoo! account

Add Photos to New Listings

1. Go to the Yahoo! Autos home page (see the Resources section below), and click on the 'Used Cars' link.

2. Click 'Post An Ad.'

3. Enter your zip code and select 'Continue.'

4. Choose an ad package. Be aware that each package includes a different number of allowable photos.

5. Fill in all the requested details about the car you are listing, and hit 'Next.'

6. Add photos by selecting 'Browse' and clicking on the photo from your hard drive. Click 'Choose' to insert the photo.

7. Repeat this process for all photos you'd like to include, and complete the listing.

Add Photos to Existing Listings

8. Go back to the Yahoo! Autos home page.

9. Click the 'My Autos' link.

10. Find your listing under the 'Selling My Ads' heading.

11. Click 'Edit.' You are now linked to the details page, where you can edit information or add additional photos.

12. Repeat the 'Add Photos' process above to insert your pictures.

Tips & Warnings

• Include both interior and exterior photos to further entice buyers and let them see what your car really looks like. Yahoo! Autos lets you include up to nine photos with a listing.
