How to Share Photos on MySpace

It's one thing to have a MySpace profile--it's another to have one that truly screams for attention! One of the best ways to give your MySpace profile a lot of pizazz is to add plenty of pictures, which your friends (or other MySpace users) can then add to their own profiles.

Things You’ll Need:

• Pictures of your own, or access to Web sites hosting pictures you'd like to add
• Internet access
• MySpace account
• Computer

Share Photos on MySpace

1. Log into your MySpace profile by entering your account information in the 'Member Login' box on the homepage (see the Resources section below). You'll need to create an account using the 'Sign Me Up!' link if you don't have one already.
2. Click on the 'Add/Edit Photos' link on your profile's homepage.
3. Click the 'Browse' button to bring up a listing of photos saved on your computer. You might need to switch folders to find the folder where your photos are located.
4. Select the photo you wish to share either by double clicking it, or by clicking it once and then clicking the 'Open' button.
5. Click 'Upload' once your photo's directory appears in the text box. This will send it to MySpace for inclusion in your profile.
6. Choose options like 'Add Caption' or 'Set as Default.' This gives you the opportunity to comment on your own image, or make it your profile's primary image. You can also choose to 'Delete' it if you're not satisfied.

Tips & Warnings

• Try to use smaller images, which will allow your profile to load more quickly. Photos in .jpg format are very clear, and take up less than 100 kb of memory.
• Do not post, host or share pornographic or inappropriate images, either in your own profile or in someone else's. These kinds of images are forbidden in the MySpace community and will result in your banishment.
