How to Add a Sigamp Widget to MySpace

If you like your music and want to share it with the world, a SIGamp widget may be the way to go. Just add some simple SIGamp widget code and you can display what you are listening to on your MySpace profile page. Follow these steps to find out how.

Things You’ll Need:

• Computer with Internet access

Sign up for a SIGamp Account

1. Visit the SIGamp Web Site to create an account (see Resources below).
2. Choose a username and password for your new SIGamp account. Enter them in the form fields, typing your password twice. Type in your email address and press the "Create Account" button.
3. Click the "Click here" link to go to the SIGamp home page and log into the site.
4. Click "Sign Up" in the navigation bar.

Download the SIGamp Plug-In

5. Log into your SIGamp account (see Resources below).
6. Click the link that corresponds with the media player you want to use. This will download the plug-in to your computer.
7. Click the "Download SIGamp" button.
8. Click the "Run" button on the dialog box that pops up.
9. Click the "Next" button on the installation window. Follow up by clicking the "Next" button again.
10. Review the information provided and click the "Next" button, and then click the "Close" button.

Obtain and Add a SIGamp Widget

11. Click "FAQ" on the navigation bar. Find the "SIGamp Plug-ins" link and click it.
12. Choose and click the link that corresponds with the type of media player you are using. Follow up by clicking the "How to Install" link.
13. Read and follow the directions for installing the plug-in for your particular media player.
14. Click the "View Your Image" link. Scroll down to view the code for your widget.
15. Select the code you want to use and right click on it. Click on "Copy" on the drop-down menu.
16. Place your cursor where you want to position your widget. Right click and select "Paste" to input your SIGamp source code.
17. Log into your MySpace account (see Resources below). Click the "Edit Profile" link.
18. Click the right mouse button and select "Paste" from the drop-down box.
19. Click the "Save All Changes" button followed by the "View My Profile" link.
20. Access support for installing your widget by visiting the SIGamp "FAQ" page (see Resources below).
