You don't need a MySpace toolbar to enjoy your own online community, but having one can make your MySpace account more fun and easier to use. Most unofficial MySpace toolbars come with profile editors to make customizing your page a snap. They usually include a full selection of tools and functions for publicizing your profile page and connecting with other users. Many even include spyware and pop-up blockers, weather, news and shortcuts. Follow these steps to learn how to add one.

Tips & Warnings
  • MySpace does not provide its own toolbar. There are many other Web sites on the Internet, however, that offer MySpace toolbars for free. You can find them by conducting a search on a major search engine.
  • If you need help with using your MySpace toolbar or suggestions for finding one, visit the MySpace forums (see Resources below).
  • The MySpace Support Web site is not affiliated with MySpace. Download its MySpace toolbar at your own risk.
  • Some Web Sites ask that you input your MySpace username and password in order to get and use their toolbars. Exercise caution when providing your password to any site other than the official MySpace Web site.
