- Computer with Internet access

Step 1
Open Internet Explorer on your computer and go to the MSN Web site (see Resources below) to log in to your account.

Click the "Tools" menu and then choose "Internet Options" from the drop-down menu.

Locate the "General" tab and then find the "Homepage" section.

Highlight the current homepage by clicking your mouse inside of the box and dragging your mouse so that current home page is highlighted.

Click the "Delete" key on your keyboard to remove the current homepage.

Use your keyboard to type in the new homepage by entering "http://www.msn.com."

Click the "OK" button to save your new homepage.

Click the "Home" icon on Internet Explorer to test that MSN is now your new homepage.

Open your Internet Explorer web browser.

Click in the address bar field and highlight the current web page address text.

Click the "Delete" button on your keyboard to remove the current text.

Type "http://www.msn.com" into the address field and click "Enter" on your keyboard to cause Internet Explorer to navigate to the MSN homepage.

Click the "Make This Your Homepage" link. It can be difficult to notice. Look carefully to find the link.

Select either "Use This Webpage As Your Only Homepage" or "Add This Webpage To Your Homepage Tabs" by clicking the circle next to your choice.

Click the "Yes" button to finalize your choice. MSN is now your homepage.
