There is, however, a free program that you can use to convert the extracted favorites into a file that you can use in another browser. After all, the main reason to export favorites is if you plan on importing them into another program. Follow these steps to find out how to export MSN Explorer favorites.

Tips & Warnings
  • MSN explorer does not save your favorites in a format that is usable by other web browsers. This means that while you can export your MSN Explorer favorites, you won't be able to upload them into another browser, even Microsoft's own Internet Explorer. However, a freeware program called MSN Favorites Export Toolkit can convert the favorites file from MSN Explorer into something that can be read by other browsers.
  • After downloading MSN Favorites Export Toolkit to your computer, scan the file for viruses to ensure the safety of the program before installing.
