Craigslist can be an excellent way to sell your jewelry. From costume pieces to antique gems, this online marketplace provides you with a direct connection to millions of potential buyers. Here's how to sell jewelry on Craigslist.

Post an Ad

1. Go to Craigslist (see the link in Resources below) and click "Post to Classifieds."

2. Click the "For Sale/Wanted" link.

3. Choose the "Jewelry" subcategory.

4. Pick a location nearest to your home (or pickup site) from the list provided.

5. Complete the post form, including a catchy yet informative title, an accurate description of your jewelry and your email address.

Sell Your Jewelry with a Smart Strategy

1. Include a picture with your ad by selecting "Add/Edit Images" in the post dialog box.

2. Select the digital image(s) you want to upload by clicking "Browse", and then placing the title of the image in the "Add" box.

3. Include a front and back view of your jewelry when possible.

4. Price your jewelry fairly. If you ask for twice the market value, you are much less likely to get interested buyers.

Negotiate the Deal
