3
Locate the center of the room where you need to start laying the tiles. To do so, locate the center of each wall and mark it with a chalk or marker.
Laying the Tiles
-
4
Mark precise reference lines on the floor where you intend to fix tiles.
-
5
Apply cement to the floor. Spread an even coat of cement on one-fourth of the floor at once. Apply it with a trowel, roller or brush.
-
6
Allow the cement dry for 15 to 20 minutes. Touch the cement once to verify that it has completely dried. If it sticks, let it dry for a few more minutes. If it does not stick, proceed to the next step.
-
7
Start laying the tiles as per the plan. Begin from the center of the room and go toward the edges. This will make your work easier and ensure a successful outcome.
-
8
Lay all the tiles carefully leaving no gaps in between them. Remember not to slide the tiles but fix them firmly at the right spot.

So there is no space or grout between the tiles? With the cement dry when laying tiles, the tiles will still adhere to the floor? Interesting instructions that I have not seen elsewhere. -
