How to Install a Yamaha R1 Battery
The Yamaha R1 is one of the fastest bikes in the world. The R1 enhances the power and the frame balancing of this two-wheeler. Read on to learn how to install a Yamaha R1 battery.

Turn off the ignition of the bike.

Release the main and passenger seats of the bike.

Pull the front of the fuel tank upwards.

Place the battery in the tail section. Arrange the wires under this section and move towards the front of the bike.

Unplug the connector from the stock wiring harness and injector rail inside the tail section.

Join the connectors of the battery to the connector unplugged from the wiring harness. Bring the fuel tank back to its original position.

Open the two bolts on the left and right side of the battery holder bracket with a screwdriver. Make sure that there is enough space to place the battery underneath it.

Connect the negative side of the battery to the ground wire of the battery.

Clean the surfaces of the rear section of the trunk.

Install the battery in the trunk using the Velcro strip that has been supplied with the unit. Connect all the wires.

Secure the bolts of the bracket.

Position the main and the passenger seats to the original position.

Go for a test-ride to check that the battery is properly installed.
