One of the great things about sex is the number of different ways that you can have sex. If you try a new position every night, it would take at least a year before you started to run out of new ideas. If you are running out of new ideas, perform the "Sleeping Beauty" sexual position tonight and see how a variation on a beloved classic becomes something altogether new.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Condoms
  • Personal lubricant
  • Bed

Step1
Visualize the doggy style position. Now, imagine that position turned sideways, so that you and your partner are lying on the bed.
Step2
Lay the passive partner on their side, more or less perpendicular to the active partner. Spread the passive partner’s legs.

Step3
Position the active partner in between the passive partner’s legs so that the active partner is not squishing the passive partner’s leg.
Step4
Achieve penetration. The Sleeping Beauty sexual position allows the active partner to penetrate deeply into their partner.
Step5
Experiment with different angles of penetration. Find a combination of angle and penetrative force that is satisfying to both of you.
Step6
Give the passive partner a light slap on the behind, or invite the passive partner to pleasure themselves with their hands while the active partner thrusts.

Tips & Warnings

  • For these instructions, passive means the partner who is being penetrated, while active means the partner who is doing the penetrating.
  • Use pillows to make yourselves more comfortable when you perform the sleeping beauty sexual position.
  • Use condoms to prevent pregnancy and the transmission of disease.
