Initiating the unexpected is a great way to keep the passion alive in a long-term relationship. You could surprise your partner with a back rub or something more daring. Read on to learn how to be spontaneous in the bedroom.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find a book of sexual positions. Find one that has detailed illustrations and descriptions.

  2. Step 2

Set the mood with some cuddling and quality time. It is easier to be spontaneous when you are feeling romantic.

  3. Step 3

Page through the book of sexual positions together. Talk to each other about what makes certain positions enticing.

  4. Step 4

Get undressed. Begin arousing each other with light touches and kisses. Tell each other dirty stories.

  5. Step 5

Find a sexual position that you have never tried before. Tell your partner how much you would like to have intercourse that way.

  6. Step 6

Throw the book of sexual positions aside and fall on one another with lustful glee. Engage in spontaneous sex.

Tips & Warnings
  • Watching a pornographic movie together is also a great way to set the stage for hot spontaneous sex. Try copying some of the positions that you see on the screen.
  • Try getting some action in places that you wouldn’t normally consider for sexual relations, such as stairways, restrooms or on the back of a parked car.
  • Having sex in public places, although very exciting, carries the risk of discovery and embarrassment.

on 9/3/2007 Just 'going for it' doesn't work if either partner has a few (or a lot) of problems with certain sex acts, and then the freak out on you.

on 5/14/2007 This is a horrible idea. Instead just go for it.
