  1. Step 1

    Decide on the tone of the toast. Do you want to be serious, sentimental or humorous?

    Determine what is important to you about the bride. Write these attributes into the toast.

  4. Step 4

    Tell a favorite story of the bride.

  5. Step 5

    Describe your hopes for her during marriage and the rest of her life.

  6. Step 6

    List some of the special attributes of the bride that will make her a good wife.

  7. Step 7

    Wish the bride and the groom the best of luck.

  8. Step 8

    Make sure your toast is no longer than two minutes.
