Design the invitations. A wedding with a Nascar theme will not be traditional in nature, so feel free to compose the invitations to suit your tastes. You may want to send invitations in the shape and color of your favorite driver's car.

When choosing attire, you can go with the color of your favorite driver's car. Or, you could choose to go all out and recreate a driver's uniform for the groom. If you really wanted to go all the way with the theme, the groomsmen could dress up as the pit crew and the bridesmaids as female drivers.

The ceremony itself should remain respectful even with the fun theme. You can add small touches such as the beginning and ending flags seen in the races. Or, you can have a checkered aisle runner rather than the traditional white.

Have videos of old races playing during the reception.

Use life-size cardboard cut-outs of drivers for decorations.

Use Nascar items such as Matchbox cars for centerpieces on the tables and food areas.

Have the cake made in the shape of a Nascar car.

Try to rent or borrow a race car in which to leave the reception.
