How to Enlist a Player or Your Favorite Team to Help You Propose

Love sports? Does she? If you answered "yes" to both and you want to be sure to propose in a way that she is sure to remember, why not enlist a player from your favorite team to help you propose?

1. Decide on a night that you're sure that both of you will be able to make it to the game.
2. Get in touch with a team manager or publicist who can help you to get in touch with the player.
3. Have your idea for your proposal already in mind so that, when you're asked, you'll be able to express it quickly and clearly. Know what you're asking the other person or people to do before you ask.
4. Have the player or team help you set the stage. This might mean making sure that the player comes over to sign an autograph before the game or something similar that will need to be coordinated.
5. Once everything is in place between you and the player or players, do your part to make the proposal go smoothly.

Tips & Warnings

• One suggestion of a way to enlist a player to help you propose is to have them come over to sign an autograph and ask you if she'd be your wife; say not yet, unless she'll marry me and present the ring.
• She may seem angry or embarassed if she doesn't like the publicity; if you're going to enlist a player or even the whole team, make sure that it's something she'll be comfortable with.
