Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Think about a theme for your crossword puzzle. You may have clues based on the dates that you have had in the past or major events during your relationship.

  2. Step 2

    Once you have decided on the theme for your crossword puzzle, determine how many answer and clue pairs you will include in the puzzle.

  3. Step 3

    Write out your clues and answers. Keep in mind that answers should be one or two words, and keep your clues clear but brief.

  4. Step 4

    Determine the best order for the answers and questions that will allow the answers to intersect.

  5. Step 5

    Log in to your Internet account and open your favorite Web browser. Go to the Web site for Instant Online Crossword Puzzle Maker and enter your answers and clues (see Resources, below).

  6. Step 6

    Enter a title for the puzzle if you have one in mind. You can leave both Columns and Rows set to auto.

  7. Step 7

    Click Create Puzzle. You can view the puzzle you've created and print it from there or save it and print it out later.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't have an Internet-ready computer? Use graph paper and draw out your crossword puzzle by hand.
  • Your clues can only be 255 characters long (including spaces) if you use the Web site.
