You put a lot of thought into asking the girl or guy of your dreams to spend the rest of your life with you. You've thought about the right place--even planned out the right meal. But how can you be sure that you choose the right time to propose? Here are some suggestions.

2. Will you be going away to propose? If you have decided to take her on a vacation before asking the question, you're sure to have her attention; just wait for the right moment.

3. Looking to do something special? If you've chosen to propose during an ordinary time (such as when she's doing laundry), the right time to propose will be when that activity is taking place.

4. Think about the time that's right for you--you will know when the moment it right; just trust your instincts.
