How to Choose a Wedding Month

Summer weddings are common, but spring, autumn and winter are also great times to get married. How do you decide? Here are some points to consider.

1. Think about what season you would like to have your wedding in; that can help you to narrow down which months to look at for your wedding.

2. Not sure of which season you want to get married in? Think about other things that are important to you–—such as an outdoor wedding or a specific type of flower.
   

3. Consider what type of honeymoon you want to have. This can help you narrow down the options that you have for the season of your wedding, which in turn will help you narrow down which month to have your wedding in.

4. Is there a time of year when you will have more time for a honeymoon or other events? If so, consider looking at the months that are most suited to those trips.

5. Planning your wedding but trying to stick to a budget? Choose a month in the late fall, winter or early spring when less people are getting married.
