Sunday weddings are less common thant Saturday weddings. However, if you are trying to choose a Sunday for your wedding, here are some things to keep in mind.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Think about what season you would like to have your wedding in. This can help you to narrow down which Sundays to look at for your wedding.

  2. Step 2

Not sure of which season you want to get married in? Think about other things that you want, such as an outdoor wedding or a specific type of flowers.

  3. Step 3

Consider what type of honeymoon you are interested in. This can help you narrow down the options that you have for the season of your wedding, which in turn will help you narrow down which Sunday to choose.

  4. Step 4

Is there a time of year when you will have more time for a honeymoon or other events? If so, consider looking at Sundays around that time.

  5. Step 5

Want your wedding to take place on a Sunday but trying to stick to a budget? Choose a Sunday in the late fall, winter or early spring when less people are getting married.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you plan ahead, you will have an easier time of planning a Sunday wedding (especially for the summer months).
  • Because many people choose Sunday weddings, you may need to look at more than one option of a wedding location in case your first choice has already been booked by someone else.
