How to Use the CB/Weather Mode on the Cobra 18 WXST II CB Radio

Using the weather mode on the Cobra 18 WXST II will provide valuable information to the user. Information such as approaching storms and weather issues can be obtained with the weather channel much sooner than it will be available on your local television or radio station. To use the weather mode on your Cobra 18 WXST II follow these simple steps.

Instructions

1. Find the On/Off/Volume knob on the bottom left hand side of the front panel to the right of the microphone connector.
   

2. Rotate the knob to the right to power on your Cobra CB radio.
   

3. Find the CB/Weather button on the front panel of your CB radio. It will be in the bottom right hand corner.
   

4. Press and then release the CB/Weather button.
   

5. Select the active Weather channel in your area.
   

6. When you have finished listening to the Weather channel and would like to resume normal CB operations, press and release the CB/Weather button once again.
