Purchase your trap (see Resources below)

When you receive the trap in the mail, purchase crackers to use as bait.

Put a cracker in the bait holder.

Set the trap.

Check the trap on a daily basis.

When you find a mouse in the trap, transport the mouse in the trap to a wooded area.

Open the door of the trap in order to free the mouse.

The mouse now must chew through the cracker in order to free himself. This process prevents direct contact between you and the mouse.

Once the mouse is free, clean the trap.

Repeat this process as many times as necessary in order to rid your home of the mouse infestation.
