Plan a Creative Wedding Proposal

Many people are not satisfied with the idea of a dinner at a nice restaurant as the heart of their wedding proposal. If you would like a wedding proposal that is more creative in nature, follow these steps.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Consider the personality you share as a couple and plan the proposal to suit those characteristics. For example, if you love adventures, plan a proposal in a hot air balloon.

  2. Step 2

Consider planning a scavenger hunt for your intended spouse by hiding clues that she has to follow.

  3. Step 3

Consider asking your friends to help you set up the proposal. Often, talking to other people can help bring creative ideas to mind.

  4. Step 4

Consider traveling to a location where you had your first date, first kiss, or other memorable event in your dating life.

  5. Step 5

If you have a pet you adore, enlist his or her help. Tying the ring to a dog's collar for her to discover can be fun and creative.

  6. Step 6

Just remember to keep your intended spouse's comfort level in mind. If she hates having any attention drawn to herself, for instance, stay away from public engagement announcements.
