Things You'll Need:
- Photographs you want to save
- Photo album binders
- Photo storage boxes

Step 1
A proper photo album will preserve your pictures will still allowing them to be easily viewed. This album will need to be a sturdy binder with acid-free paper inserts and a protective plastic sheet protector.

Step 2
Purchase a slip case for the binder to be placed inside of to keep the album safe from dust and sunlight.

Step 3
If you are storing a large amount of photos you will need to purchase a medium size archival box. These are usually referred to as shoe or hat boxes. They are an excellent way to keep your photographs safe from dust, insects, and sunlight.

Step 4
Larger size photographs can be placed into office record cartons made from acid-free cardboard.

on 6/27/2009 Thats good info. Myself; as a photographer, I have to store tons of pictures. I have decided to have both a digital and a hard copy. 5*
