Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Towel
  • Sedu flat iron
  • Good quality shampoo
  • Hair dryer
  • Conditioner
  • Round brush
  • Shine-on hair spray
  1. Step 1

Purchase your Sedu Ionic Ceramic Pro flat iron which is uniquely designed and patented using ceramic plates made of tourmaline crystals. The Sedu flat iron is sold exclusively in salons, beauty supply stores, and online. For more information see Resources below.

  2. Step 2

Wash your hair with warm water using a good quality shampoo.

  3. Step 3

Use a conditioner after shampooing and leave it on for at least 2 minutes before rinsing it out with cool water.

  4. Step 4

Towel dry your hair gently. Apply hair styling gel, mousse or anti-frizz serum to your hair to make your hair more manageable.

  5. Step 5

Take a round brush and a hair dryer and dry your hair. Ensure that you keep the tip of the dryer pointing downward, in a parallel direction of your hair.

  6. Step 6

See that your hair is as flat as possible.

  7. Step 7

Determine the type of hairstyle you want to create. You can create several styles such as flat straight, soft curls, flip out, and flip in.

  8. Step 8

Create flat straight hairstyle. Insert a 2-inch section of hair between the plates of your Sedu flat iron, and then squeeze the handle together. Glide slowly through hair from the roots to the ends. Repeat this until you are done straightening all the hair.

  9. Step 9

Create soft curls. Insert a 2-inch section of hair between the plates of your Sedu flat iron, and then squeeze the handle together. Glide slowly through hair from the roots to the ends and wind the hair around. Repeat this until you are done giving soft curls to your hair.

  10. Step 10

Create a flip-out hairstyle. Insert a 2-inch section of hair between the plates of your Sedu flat iron, and then squeeze the handle together. Glide slowly through hair from the roots to the ends and slightly flip out the ends. Repeat this until you are done creating the flip-out hairstyle.

  11. Step 11

Create flip-in hairstyle. Insert a 2-inch section of hair between the plates of your Sedu flat iron, and then squeeze the handle together. Glide slowly through hair from the roots to the ends and slightly flip in the ends. Repeat this until you are done creating the flip-in hairstyle.

  12. Step 12

Add some gloss to your hair with a good quality shine-on spray. Don’t use too much of it or your hair will weigh down. Enjoy your new look.

Tips & Warnings
  • Get the Sedu flat iron of correct plate size depending on your hair size. If you have short to medium length hair, the Sedu 1” flat iron is best. The Sedu 1 ½” flat iron is better if your hair is medium to long. However, if you have thick or exceptionally curly hair, it is best to go with the Sedu 1 ½” flat iron to decrease time and effort.
  • Use a fine tooth comb along with your Sedu flat iron when straightening wavy or curly hair.
  • Apply the hair serum and gel to damp or towel dried hair.
  • Do not use Sedu flat iron on wet hair. It may damage your hair permanently by scorching it.
  • Do not dry your hair too much with the towel. It will be difficult to straighten the curls with Sedu flat iron.
