Like the United States and the United Kingdom, Nicaragua celebrates Father’s Day on the third Sunday of June every year. Nicaragua may have different Father's Day traditions; but the purpose for the day remains the same: children thank the father for all his love and affection. Follow these steps to celebrate Father’s Day in Nicaragua.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Wish your father "Happy Father’s Day" with a fresh bouquet of flowers in the early morning.
Step2
Give him a handmade gift and an emotional greeting card. Offer him something that he would really appreciate.
Step3
Prepare a good breakfast for your father. Prepare food items which he likes and serve hot. Have breakfast with him and enhance the joy.
Step4
Plan an outing, if he's interested in traveling. Decide on places like Corn Island or Granada.
Step5
Visit his favorite restaurant for lunch. Let your father select the items from the menu.
Step6
Go for long drive with your father. Ask him to talk about some happy events in his life.
Step7
Make the day memorable by taking some photographs.
Step8
Cook the dinner of his choice and enjoy it with the entire family.
Step9
Make the dinner time livelier by talking about some funny incidents.
Step10
Watch your father’s favorite movie with him, if possible.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure that you pay for the lunch in the restaurant.
