Chile celebrates Father’s Day on the third Sunday of June. Father’s Day is celebrated differently in different parts of the world. In the United States, children celebrate the Father’s Day on the third Sunday of June every year. Australia celebrates it on the first Sunday of September while in China the celebrations take place on August 8 every year. Children get an opportunity to show love and affection for the father on this day. Follow these steps to celebrate Father’s Day in Chile.

  1. Step 1

    Wish your father "Happy Father's Day" early in the morning. Offer him a bouquet of fresh flowers along with an emotional greeting card.

  2. Step 2

    Prepare his favorite dish for breakfast. You can make a local special like ave palta, especial or churrasco.

  3. Step 3

    Ask him if he would like to go for a picnic. You could decide on Easter Island or Isla Negra. Choose one where he could relax and enjoy himself.

  4. Step 4

    Go for shopping with him and buy something very special. Buy something that he would joyfully use.

  5. Step 5

    Take him for lunch to his favorite restaurant. Allow him to choose the items. Remember that you should pay the bill, not him.

  6. Step 6

    Throw a surprise party in the evening. Invite his family friends and colleagues. Make sure that he enjoys the get-together.

  7. Step 7

    Spend sometime alone with him. Ask him to talk about happy events in his life.

  8. Step 8

    Make this day memorable by taking some photographs.
