Can't wait to get to the beach? Stop in Falmouth soon after you get onto Cape Cod and stop at Falmouth Heights Beach.

As you're moving further East onto Cape Cod, consider a stop at Sandy Neck Beach in Barnstable. There, you'll find over six miles of beach to spread out on.

Looking for a quiet beach in the middle Cape where you can watch the sunset? Consider making your way to Gray's Beach in Yarmouthport by following Route 6A to the end of Center St in town.

Continuing further east on Cape Cod? Consider a stop a Breakwater Beach in Brewster, which is also off of Route 6A.

If you're going to be in Chatham and want to be sure that you have seclusion on the beach, take a water taxi to North Beach.

Or, if you make it all the way out to the tip of Cape Cod, plan to make a trip to Race Point Beach off of Route 6 in Provincetown.

Beaches are less busy in the mornings and evening than they are in the afternoons.
Beaches are more quiet on weekdays than they are on the weekends.
Cape Cod beaches all tend to be crowded on weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Unless you have a beach sticker, you won't be spending much time on any beach on the Cape. :-(
