Step1
The first step is getting to Truro. To do so, head out Route 6 East onto the Cape. Follow this road nearly to the tip of Cape Cod.
Step2
From Route 6, turn left onto Route 6A, which is also Truro Center Road.
Step3
If you plan to park at the beach, you'll need to get a permit from the beach office in Truro. So, you should stop in town, especially if you'll be in the area for more than a day.
Step4
Head to Long Nook Road and look for parking for the beach.
Step5
Walk down through the dunes to the beach.

  • Beaches are less busy in the mornings and evening than they are in the afternoons.
  • Beaches are more quiet on weekdays than they are on the weekends.
