Mortars
-
1
Look for likely targets. There are two occasions which require you to use mortars. If you don't know what you're doing, these fights can last a lot longer than necessary. Listen to your orders (for instance, "Destroy that barricade!") and look for targets that seem likely. Yes, blasting troops around is fun; but it will drag the fight out.
-
2
Crank the mortar back and forth, up and down. You'll be instructed by a quick tutorial. Make sure you crank the mortar up if you want your shots to go farther and down if you want closer shots. Also note that there are some shots that are "close" to the intended targets, but not quite on. If you see your shots getting close to the target and making a small, ineffectual explosion, you know you're close. Adjust a little and keep firing.

Panzershreks and Steilhandgrenates

3
Use it if you see it! Panzershreks are the Axis equivalent of bazookas. They have one use, and one use only: blowing up tanks. If you see one lying around, there's a reason for it: tanks are rolling in! You may want to check for wheeled cannons that are usable before you grab the Panzershrek. The cannons work better and have unlimited ammo. Panzershreks typically come with 1 or 2 rockets.
-
4
Remember that Panzershreks are only effective against vehicles! You might want to use the Panzershrek on infantry, but fight it! You never know when another Tiger will come crashing through a hedge. If the cannons have been destroyed and your Panzershrek is empty, you're in trouble!
-
5
Get up close and personal. The range of the Panzershrek is limited to begin with, but its accuracy drops sharply the farther away from the target you are. As unpleasant as it may be, get nice and close before you pop the Panzershrek. Otherwise, you may be looking on in horror as the rocket veers to the side and misses.

6
Use the Steilhandgrenates exactly as you would the American equivalent. They do the same damage and can still be thrown back at the enemy, just as the pineapple grenades can. Make sure you chuck it as soon as you grab it. If you don't, it will be fatal!
