Now that you’ve got the most common weapons down, it's time to move on to some more specialized weapons that are a little less-common. These are of course the Gewehr 43 (G-43) and the MP-44. Follow these steps to learn just how useful they can be.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

G-43

Step1
Grab a G-43 if you see one! The G-43 makes an excellent replacement for the Garand! The G-43's power and its range are similar to the Garand, but the G-43 carries 10 rounds instead of 8. Plus, it can be reloaded mid-magazine. The G-43 may be rare or even absent on some levels; but on those where it does appear, it appears en masse.
Step2
Use the G-43 for long-range combat and sniper support. Its accuracy and power make it excellent for picking off the enemy at long range.
Step3
Be aware that the reload time for the G-43 is a bit longer than the Garand. Using cover while reloading is particularly important here.

MP-44/STG-44

Step1
Use this weapon only as a last resort. Don’t get the wrong idea. The MP-44 is an excellent weapon! It has power, a fast rate of fire and decent accuracy. The two catches are that it's rare and that it tends to burn through ammunition quickly. If you run out of ammo for it, you may find yourself waiting awhile before you see another one.
Step2
Use the MP-44 as an anywhere weapon. It can be used in close quarters as well as for mid- or even long-ranges, to a degree. The only thing the MP-44 isn't good for is sniping.
Step3
Remember to use burst fire with the MP-44. While it may be more accurate and powerful than the MP-40, try and resist the urge to go full auto! Its fun; but as we pointed out, the MP-44 burns ammunition quickly and reloads are scarce.
