Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
MP-40
Step1
Use the MP-40 as the Germans do: for short and mid-range combat and room clearing. It's not a sniper weapon by any stretch of the imagination because of its short range and inaccuracy, but it's very effective up close and personal.
Step2
Use it anytime. The MP-40, along with the Kar-98, is one of the most common weapons in service with the Axis armies. With a few exceptions, you can find it in nearly every level.
Step3
Remember that short, controlled bursts of fire are the way to go. Like its counterparts, the Thompson and the Sten, the MP-40 quickly loses accuracy when fired on full auto.
Kar-98
Step1
Use the Kar-98 as a replacement for the Garand or the Lee-Enfield. The Kar-98 has similar properties to both of these weapons. It hits hard. It's also accurate and can be used as a sniper weapon in a pinch.
Step2
Make sure you’re behind cover when you reload! Like the Lee-Enfield, the Kar-98 is a bolt-action rifle. The bolt must be worked between each shot, making cover essential. If cover is not available, go prone.
Step3
Use it anytime, anywhere. Like the MP-40, the Kar-98 is extremely common. It can be found in nearly every level of the game. If you can pick one up, you’ll never run out of ammunition for it.
