Book Your Deer Valley Lodging

Step1
Book your lodging by calling or reserve online at the Deer Valley website (see Resources below). Deer Valley Central Reservations is a full-service planning option operated by the resort. By booking your lodging and vacation through the resort, you can receive deep discounts on airfare, transportation, lift tickets, lessons and equipment rental packages.
Step2
Reserve a room in a nearby Park City bed and breakfast for an intimate, cozy atmosphere. Rooms generally come with a warm, delicious breakfast and fine amenities. Expect moderate to expensive rates, depending on the season. Booking lodging during the Sundance Film Festival can be tricky--not to mention pricey.

Arrange Your Transportation

Step1
Fly into the Salt Lake City International airport, located conveniently just 36 miles from Deer Valley.
Step2
Travel East on Interstate 80 and take exit 145 to Park City, Utah. From Park City, continue east to Deer Valley.

Enjoy Your Ski Trip to Deer Valley

Step1
Prepare to visit the base lodge to purchase your lift tickets if you decided not to purchase a combination lodging-and-ski package through the resort. Keep in mind that Deer Valley limits the amount of lift ticket sales in order to provide exemplary skiing conditions and short chair lift lines.
Step2
Take advantage of the many schooling and lesson options available at Deer Valley. Learn how to ski or enhance your skills from the professional, friendly Deer Valley staff.
Step3
Check the online ski and snow report found on the Deer Valley homepage for current weather and snowfall conditions.
Step4
Review the Deer Valley trail map to familiarize yourself with the resort layout. There are 19 lifts and 88 trails to embark on, with 50 percent of the trails being beginner and intermediate level.
Step5
Prepare to dress warmly during your trip. Necessary clothing includes bibs or ski pants, thermals, gators and warm socks. Protect your eyes with sunglasses or goggles. Two-way radios are also a great idea for communicating with your group members on the mountain while skiing on different trails.
