It became the top private airline in Bangladesh in 2004. GMG Airlines offers domestic and international travel, and its Web site offers a map with various destination routes. Learn About GMG Airlines and Book Your Flight

1. Book your flight on GMG Airlines by calling 011 ([phone]. The airline's corporate office is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. To facilitate the booking process, GMG Airlines offices are open year-round, from morning to night, 7 days a week.

2. Visit the GMG Airlines Web site (see Resources below). Click on the "Schedule & Fare Chart" link. You will not be able to complete the booking process online, but you will be able to learn about routes, schedules and fares. Knowing this information ahead of time will make it much easier to book your flight when you call the GMG Airlines office.

3. Click on the "Fare Chart" link ("Domestic" or "Overseas") to read about current GMG Airlines fares. The airline's flights tend to be inexpensive.

4. Click on the "International Schedule" or "Domestic Schedule" links to find a chart of flight numbers and schedules for multiple flights to multiple destinations. For instance, you'll see a list of the eight different flights that fly from Dhaka to Chittagong each week. If you prefer to read about one particular route instead of all of them, choose your departure and arrival cities from the drop-down menu on the Schedules & Fare Chart page.

5. Read about enticing accommodations and flight packages when you click on the "Attractive Holiday Packages" link. You may be able to book a four-star hotel room in Dhaka or an apartment in Bangkok for a discounted price.

6. Make a connection. GMG Airlines has partnerships with a large number of major airlines, including Air France and United Airlines. This makes it easy for passengers to make connecting flights to several destinations.

Tips & Warnings

• GMG Airlines currently does not offer online booking.

• Apply for a visa before you travel by visiting an Embassy of Bangladesh. Most visas last for 6 months and are simple to obtain.

• All phone numbers include the United States international prefix "011." When calling internationally from outside the United States, check which prefix to use. All country codes are within parentheses and begin with a "+" sign.

• Visit a doctor before traveling to Bangladesh, as there are certain immunization vaccines and boosters that are highly recommended.
