1. Charter a flight on Turan Air with the help of a travel agent. Choose a knowledgeable agent with experience working with charters and with travel in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

2. Make sure your travel agent speaks Azerbaijani. If you have difficulty finding an agent who speaks this language, choose a travel agent who speaks either Russian or Armenian. Both of these languages are commonly heard in Azerbaijan.

3. Contact the airline's main offices in Ganja or Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, if you speak the language yourself.

• There currently is no English-language booking Web site or phone number for Turan Air.
• Go to your local Azerbaijan Embassy to apply for a visitor's visa. They are required upon entrance to the country.
• Always get up-to-date vaccinations prior to traveling far from home. Azerbaijan's main health concerns are tetanus, Hepatitis A, typhoid and polio. It is recommended to receive boosters and immunization against these diseases.
