How to Book Travel on Chanchangi Airlines

As Nigeria's largest airline, Chanchangi Airlines is relatively organized and well-equipped for air travel within and outside of Nigeria. The airline's fleet features four Boeing 727s and six Boeing 737s and continues to expand. Their competitive prices have contributed to the airline's continued popularity. However, a much-acclaimed new route from Lagos to Accra, Ghana was suspended in late 2006.

Tips & Warnings

  • All phone numbers include the United States international prefix "011." When calling internationally from outside the United States, check which prefix to use. All country codes are within parentheses and begin with a "+" sign.

  • Book online for exclusive Internet deals, specials and packages.

  • You may want to avoid Nigeria's rainy months of August and September.

  • You'll find a Beta version of an online reservation system at Chanchangi's Web site, but the airline advises that booking should still be done over the phone.

  • Before booking trips to and from Accra, Ghana, call the airlines to verify the existence of this flight. Although the Chanchangi Airlines Web site still lists this route, outside sources maintain that service has been suspended.
