Instructions

  1. Plan and Book Your Trip Itinerary

    • 1

Review the weekly flight schedule on the ADC Airlines Web site (see Resources below). Flight availability will help you determine the best dates for your departure and return trips. The Web site lists travel specials that may influence your travel dates and times.

    • 2

Book your flight via the ADC Airlines Web site. You can also call 011 (+234) 1 2714020 to speak with an airline representative, finalize your itinerary and book your flight. Regional flights are moderately priced.

    • 3

Visit or call an ADC Airlines ticket outlet to reserve your preferred travel dates. A list of approved ticket vendors is available on the airline's Web site.

    • 4

Research Nigerian events, attractions and hotels online at the Embassy of Nigeria's Web site (see Resources below).

    Travel with Children

    • 5

Ask a friend to fly with you if you are a single parent of two children under 23 months old. ADC requires one adult per infant flight ratio.

    • 6

Prepare to fly with your children if they are between 2 and 18 years old. All children traveling on ADC Airlines must have at least one adult on board with them.

    • 7

Call an ADC Airlines authorized agent to make special arrangements for your child to travel alone. Tickets cannot be purchased for children flying alone using either the online or local outlet booking method.

Tips & Warnings

  • All phone numbers include the United States international prefix "011." When calling internationally from outside the United States, check which prefix to use. All country codes are within parentheses and begin with a "+" sign.

  • Consider joining the "Unicorn Club" if you frequently travel in Nigeria for business or pleasure. This loyalty program can be set up as an individual account or as a household account, and can provide you with discounts or even free flights.

  • Children younger than 18 years old do not qualify as household members of the "Unicorn Club."

  • Credit card companies often give you increased rewards or thank-you points for booking travel online.

  • As of November 1, 2006, all ADC planes are grounded due to the crash of ADC's flight from Abuja to Sokoto in October 2006. Before planning travel, check the ADC Web site to see whether the airline has been permitted to resume flights.

  • Due to the recent increase in fraudulent travel offers, always book your tickets using an ADC Airline-approved reservation method.
