How to Book Train Travel From Guangzhou to Shanghai

Shanghai is located on the Yangtze River in China. The eighth largest city in the world, Shanghai is a popular destination for tourists and business travelers. If you are traveling from Guangzhou to Shanghai by train, it's best to book your reservations in advance.

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet access
  1. Step 1

    Visit the China Trip Advisor Web site (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

    Click on the "Contact" link. This will bring up a request form. Fill it out and include your email address.

  3. Step 3

    Expect a response to your online query within 24 hours.

Tips & Warnings
  • Train tickets ordered online can be delivered to your hotel or other location in Guangzhou.
  • You may be required to pay 35 percent of the total cost up front, but this doesn't guarantee a reservation. If your trip cannot be confirmed, you will be entitled to a refund.
