A trip to California's Wine Country would not be complete without some time by the sea. If you want to find a quiet beach in Santa Barbara County, here are some places to look.

  1. Step 1

    Plan a visit to Arroyo Burro Beach if you want to find a quiet beach where you will be able to have a barbeque, fish, whale watch or just unwind,

  2. Step 2

    Head south of Santa Barbara and visit Carpinteria State Beach if you want to find a beach where you can fish, relax and explore tidepools.

  3. Step 3

    West of Santa Barbara, plan to visit Gaviota State Park. There you will be able to relax, swim, fish and watch surfers.

  4. Step 4

    Head to Goleta Beach County Park if you want to find a quiet beach for sunbathing, biking, hiking and boating.

  5. Step 5

    Plan a visit to Ocean Beach County Park if you are in the area of Lompoc and are looking to find a quiet beach where you can enjoy nature.
