From windsurfing to beachcombing, you will be able to find it all in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Here are some starting points if you want to find a quiet beach.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Consider first Orrin Keyes Beach on Sea Street in Hyannis. Though the beach is not expansive, there is plenty of space for stretching out, swimming and beachcombing.

  2. Step 2

On Ocean Street, visit Veterans' Beach. This is a particularly good spot to seek out if you enjoy parks and grassy areas. If you are interested in U.S. history, you can also visit the nearby J.F.K. Memorial.

  3. Step 3

Looking for a quiet beach where you can watch the windsurfers? Stay on Ocean Street and visit Kalmus Beach facing both the ocean and the bay.

  4. Step 4

Plan a trip to Craigville Beach in Centerville if you want to find a great beach that is near, but not in Hyannis, and you like soft sand and warm water.
