How to Book a Romantic Getaway to Propose

Proposals are meant to be a very special moment shared between two people who love each other more than anyone else in the world. If you are financially capable of proposing to your beloved in a special location, you should make the effort to do so.

1. Determine where your girlfriend/boyfriend would like to spend the weekend. It may be that you can return to the site of a first date or take your boyfriend/girlfriend to the place of his or her dreams. If you cannot think of a location, you may want to consult a travel agent.

2. Be sure there are not any personal or business conflicts on the weekend you would like to propose. Friends are often helpful with discovering this information for you.

3. Consider the type of place your beloved would like to stay. Some people enjoy resorts while others enjoy a secluded bed and breakfast.

4. Be sure you can easily afford the place you choose. The engagement is just the beginning of the money you will be spending for the wedding.
   

5. Call at least one month, but preferably three months, before you would like to take the trip.
   

6. Confirm your reservations three days before your scheduled trip.
