1. If you have a local area connection or dial-up connection icon in your task bar, right click on it. (It looks like two computers side by side.)

2. A box will open, your Internet bandwidth speed is listed there. If you don't have an icon use the following instructions.

3. Click on "Start" in the taskbar.

4. Click on "Control Panel."

5. Click on "Network and Internet Connections."

6. Click on "Network Connections."

7. Right-click on your active connection.

8. Click on "Status."

9. A box will open that shows your Internet bandwidth speed.
