How to Sort Incoming Messages With Yahoo! Mail

Yahoo! Mail is a very versatile e-mail program that allows you to customize how your e-mail appears in your inbox. You can change colors, the way e-mails are sent and received, as well as add folders to your e-mail inbox to help you sort your mail. You can change the sorting of your incoming mail easily with Yahoo! Mail.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A Yahoo! e-mail address and password
  • A Yahoo! account
  1. Step 1

    Open your Internet browser and go to Yahoo! Mail.

  2. Step 2

    Login to your Yahoo! account.

  3. Step 3

    Click on “Inbox”.

  4. Step 4

    To sort messages, click on the column header that you want to sort by (sender, date, subject or size).

  5. Step 5

    One click and your mail is instantly resorted.

Tips & Warnings
  • Yahoo! Mail default sorts your e-mail messages by date received.
  • One click on a header will instantly sort your mail in descending, click again and the mail sorts in ascending order.
