Nachos are very easy to make and they’re great for a snack, a meal or for serving at casual get-togethers and events like your annual Super Bowl party.

Things You'll Need:

  • Ground beef
  • Refried beans
  • Taco seasoning
  • Bell peppers
  • Tortilla chips
  • Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa
  • Olives
  • Avocado
  • Salsa

  • Ground beef
  • Taco seasoning
  1. Step 1

    Add equal portions of ground beef and refried beans to a pan and heat until the meat is around halfway cooked. Add taco seasoning if desired.

  2. Step 2

    Add the peppers and continue cooking a couple more minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Spread tortilla chips over a plate (one for each person or on a large platter if you’re serving a snack for guests).

  4. Step 4

    Spread a generous layer of the meat mixture over the chips.

  5. Step 5

    Add plenty of cheese on the top.

  6. Step 6

    Grill in the oven or heat until the cheese is melted and the chips are hot and slightly toasted around the edges.

  7. Step 7

    Add your choice of toppings such as avocado, salsa, or olives, or serve these on the side.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can heat the plate of nachos in the microwave, but you’ll probably end up with soggy tortilla chips. You'll always get the best results by using your oven.
