How to Light Fireworks

On the 4th of July and other special occasions when it is legal, your family may want to enjoy the festivities with some fireworks. Follow these directions to make sure that your fire shows stay safe.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Punk sticks, matches or lighter
• Fireworks

1. Put the firework in a base or holder.

2. Place the base on the ground with an area of about ten feet clear around it.

3. Step close with a punk stick, match, or lighter, and light the fuse.

4. Move back quickly, and enjoy the show!

Tips & Warnings

• Only use legal fireworks.
• Only light one firework at a time.
