Step1
Be sure you own a Bluetooth-enabled phone.
Step2
Buy a Bluetooth car kit, if your car does not have Bluetooth capability built-in. If you own a high-tech 2004 model car or newer, your car likely has Bluetooth capability already built-in and can communicate instantly with your phone.
Step3
Install the Bluetooth car kit. It is a sipmle device with a fairly simple installation. Every Bluetooth car device comes with a step-by-step guide to help.
Step4
Keep in mind that however you choose to install your Bluetooth car kit, mount the microphone at the maximum 16 inches away from your face, either near the rearview mirror, headliner, or overhead console. This is to ensure easier reach and accessibility.
Step5
Make sure that the installed Bluetooth car kit does not interfere in any way with the mirrors, the seats or gearshift, and more importantly, the car's airbag.
Step6
Or, have a certified technician do the installation. There are certain Bluetooth car kit manufacturers that do not allow their customers to install it themselves, otherwise it nulls the warranty.
Step7
Test the Bluetooth car kit immediately. If a problem arises, contact your dealer.
