A marriage license costs more on Saturdays than during the week. On Saturdays, the price jumps to $45.
Although neither you nor your future spouse needs to take any kind of physical examination to get a marriage license, both of you have to sign for receipt of a brochure about AIDS.
Children under 16 cannot be married without a court order. Children at least 16 years old can get married with parental consent.
