How to Build a Shed

Decided that it’s time to add a shed to your property? If you are unsure how to proceed from that decision, read on for tips on building a shed.

• The pieces for assembly

1. Measure the area that you want the shed to take up. You can plan for a pre-made shed, which you buy in pieces and assemble, or you can follow plans from scratch.

2. Make sure that your plans and designs fit your space needs, including the height available. Also remember to consider things like drainage if your shed will be in a downhill area.

3. Assemble your kit or follow the plans according to the directions.
