1. Bring a witness that is familiar with the bride and groom to the county clerk’s office to apply for your marriage license.

3. Find and reserve a location for your wedding ceremony. If you’re not set on a particular church, consider some of the natural amphitheaters of the Wyoming wilderness-especially those in Yellowstone National Park.
4. Make a guest list and send out the invitations. If you’re pressed for cash, you can do it non-traditionally using an electronic service.

• Marriage licenses in the state of Wyoming do not expire. So, as soon as you’re engaged, you can apply for a marriage license no matter the date of the ceremony.
• Marriage licenses in Wyoming cost $25, and the fee is to be paid in cash upon application.
