Unwind by making yourself a non-alcoholic prickly pear margarita to share with your kids. It tastes the same as the alcoholic version but the buzz level is zero, and it's the perfect drink to enjoy on a warm afternoon. Here's how to make a non-alcoholic prickly pear margarita.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 whole canned pear in light or heavy syrup
  • ½ oz. lime juice
  • 1 ½ oz. sweet and sour mix
  • 1 oz. lemon-lime soda
  • Lime juice
  • Sweet and sour mix
  • Blender
  • 1 canned whole pear in light or heavy syrup
  • Lemon-lime soda
Step1
Combine all ingredients into a blender.
Step2
Replace the lid and blend until the mixture is smooth.
Step3
Pour the mixture into a tall glass.
Step4
Garnish with a slice of pear (or other fruit).

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to use canned pears because they blend much better than fresh pears.
