How to Make a Non-Alcoholic Mai Tai

The phrase "Mai Tai" roughly translates as "Very Good" in Tahitian. A Mai Tai even tastes "very good" without the alcohol content. Let your kids enjoy this delicious drink by making a non-alcholic Mai Tai.

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 1 oz. orange juice
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • 2 oz. pineapple juice
  • 2 oz. almond syrup
  • 1 oz. orange syrup
  • Pineapple wedge
  • Almond syrup
  • Glassware
  • Lemon juice
  • Pineapple wedge
  • Pineapple juice
  • Ice
  • Orange syrup
  • Lime juice
  • Orange juice
  1. Step 1

    Scoop ice into a martini shaker until it is half-full.

  2. Step 2

    Pour in the syrup and juice and replace the lid.

  3. Step 3

    Shake until the outside of the shaker becomes frosted with condensation.

  4. Step 4

    Strain the contents of the shaker into a tall, 16-oz. glass filled with ice.

  5. Step 5

    Garnish with a pineapple wedge and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • For the best taste, substitute the pre-made juices with the fresh juice of one orange, half a lemon and half a lime.
  • Be sure to serve non-alcoholic drinks in glasses that are different than the ones containing alcoholic drinks so that they do not get mixed up.
